Robert Redford invites Ian Skelly to join panel discussion at London's first Sundance Festival
as The Prince of Wales introduces the UK's first screening of Harmony
The Prince of Wales introduced the British premiere of Harmony at Robert Redford's first London Sundance Festival at the O2 Centre on Saturday 28th April 2012. The 90 minute documentary, narrated by HRH The Prince of Wales, was inspired by the book, Harmony, co-authored by the Prince, Ian Skelly and Tony Juniper. Ian was the Prince's advisor and writer on the film which is made by Academy Award nominees, Balcony Films. The screening was followed by an extended Q&A with Ian Skelly, Tony Juniper and the filmmakers.

Ian Skelly is a broadcaster, writer, speaker and media trainer based in the UK.
For nearly twenty years Ian has been a national broadcaster with BBC Radio 3, the national radio station dedicated to classical world and jazz music and a station that champions the serious arts.
Ian is also a published writer. He began writing professionally in 1990 and immediately became an award-winning travel writer for the Observer newspaper in London for which he travelled the world on assignments both on land and at sea.
His latest high profile project is the result of his close association with HRH The Prince of Wales. Their book Harmony, co-authored with the environmentalist, Tony Juniper, was published by HarperCollins in the US, the UK and many other countries in October 2010.
The book complements a film, also called Harmony, a version of which was screened across America in November 2010 by NBC. The full 90 minute documentary is due for cinema release in 2012. Ian is the advisor on behalf of the Prince of Wales acting as an associate producer on the film.
Ian also now offers engaging and inspiring illustrated talks and lectures about Harmony. He is able to give a detailed insight into the Prince’s passionately expressed testimony as he explains how the initiatives and projects the Prince has set up are all underpinned by the same, crucial principles. He has delivered talks in the USA at Yale University, the University of Maryland and at locations in New York. He has appeared at venues and festivals around the UK and in London at the Royal Geographical Society, the Temenos Academy and Kings Place.
