Ian Skelly is a broadcaster with over 25 years experience as a professional presenter of live radio and television and offers broadcast, presentation, and voiceover skills. 

Broadcast

Ian has been a presenter for 30 years. He began his career as a reporter for the BBC and quickly began presenting a variety of radio shows in the Midlands for the BBC. He presented two popular breakfast shows, doubling audiences as he went, before moving to London to work for BBC Radio 3 where he remains a regular voice on the station. He presents the station's Breakfast show, its evening programmes and concerts live from the stage from around the UK.

He presents programmes for other outlets. He has recently been to Lebanon for the BBC World Service programme, Heart and Soul. Listen to the programme here and read the background.

Voiceover

He has written and presented a range of documentaries for the BBC and therefore, very at home in front of live microphones and is available as an experienced narrator and voiceover.

Presentation

Ian is also available as a concert and events presenter, having worked regularly in venues as diverse as the Royal Albert Hall and the Barbican Centre in London, the Watford Colosseum, the Plymouth Pavilions and the Dorking Halls.  He has been the host of many music concerts and other big corporate events at conference centres and around the country at some of the BBC's bigger studio venues.
